Ongoing Thermal Management Services

Data centers are typically comprised of a series of micro climates. Some areas of a data center can be too warm, while others are colder than they need to be. Because data centers are dynamic and constantly changing environments, it is difficult to keep up with shifting heat loads and predict where troublesome hotspots may develop. The ability to routinely check the thermal status of your data center room and make adjustments for thermal variations can help ensure that hot spots are avoided, cooling energy is not wasted, and the overall thermal “health” of the room is maintained.

Thermal Services provided by AdaptivCool™ compliment and enhance the Demand Based Cooling (DBC) system by providing remote thermal monitoring, data gathering, and analysis to help predict and mitigate thermal problems due to increases or changes in IT equipment loads and cooling requirements. AdaptivCool personnel will remotely monitor your DBC system for alarms, and will be able to asses the facility remotely. In addition, AdaptivCool™ will provide monthly and quarterly reports highlighting areas of thermal concern, solution recommendations, and updated data center CFD analysis. The information presented in these reports can be used to ensure your data center remains thermally safe through changes, growth, or expansion.
