The HotSpotr line of products address the two main issues concerning hot spots and air distribution; cool air supply and hot air mitigation. The HT-510 is an in floor solution for cold air supply to the server intake. By carefully monitoring the server intake temperatures the HT-510 will adjust its cold air supply to the server therefore reducing hot spots. Through reducing hot/cold air mixing, a data center can work more efficiently and can increase computer room air conditioner (CRAC) performance. The HT-710 was designed to move server exhaust back to the CRAC based on an internal thermistor that controls fan speed. A hotter supply of air to CRAC allows a high DeltaT which allows the CRAC to work more efficiently.
